Bark in the Park 2013

Shade, great weather, contests, a fun-run, more dogs than you can count, and all of the money raised goes to support the Butte Humane Society. Hey, what’s not to love about Bidwell Bark? This was the second year for the popular event, and it shows no signs of stopping, if attendance and attitude are anything to go by? It was the first year for ChicoPops, and we hope to make such charity events, a regular thing. Judging from the near constant attraction of visitors, our booth was a hit. Here’s an extra big shout-out to all of the wonderful people who stopped by and applauded our creation.  We loved talking to everyone and handing out puppy-dog treats to all of our beautiful doggies friends. Be sure to visit our gallery section to see all of the fantastic photos.

Bidwell Bark was the perfect venue for Chico Pops, because we care deeply about the Chico community. It isn’t just in the name. We want our business to stay local and continue to give back to those who support us, such as The Butte Humane Society. Our popcorn is made free of GMO’s and oils, and a vegan recipe is being researched, to make our delicious caramel corn available to even more people. Young and old, everyone loved our crunchy, munchy, caramel corn, with many coming back for seconds. Yay! We’re just getting the ball rolling, but with a solid focus on our community and our many eager fans, we know when our product hits the store shelves early next year, it’s going to go gangbuster.

Our next event is the Taste of Home Cooking Show on October 24th. Get your tickets now and be sure to swing by our booth. There will be samples, prizes, cooking demonstrations and sooooooooooo much more. Keep checking back on our website for more events and updates about when you can buy Chico Pops at a store near you. Oh, and pretty please, with sugar on top, visit us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter.
