Chico Community BBQ Cook-Off

The 52nd Annual Community BBQ Cook-Off, hosted by the Chico Chamber, was all about local businesses bringing their goods from “farm to grill.” Attendees brought their appetite and came for the delicious Tri Tip, made by professional and “backyard” teams (with locally grown ingredients), but stayed for the many local exhibitors eager to show off their products.

California Nut Festival 2014

Local grown food and businesses was the name of the game for the fifth annual California Nut Festival, held at the
lovely Patrick Ranch Museum in Durham, California. What began as a tour of the museum has since grown into a celebration of Chico business, and Chico Pops was a smash hit!

Taste of Home 2013

When you think of cooking, odds are a church isn’t exactly the first thing that comes to mind. However, Neighborhood Church and the Taste of Home magazine showed everyone just how well these two things can go together.

The event was hosted by the Taste of Home Magazine and featured a live cooking show with Chef Kristi Larson.
