Chico Community BBQ Cook-Off

The 52nd Annual Community BBQ Cook-Off, hosted by the Chico Chamber, was all about local businesses bringing their goods from “farm to grill.” Attendees brought their appetite and came for the delicious Tri Tip, made by professional and “backyard” teams (with locally grown ingredients), but stayed for the many local exhibitors eager to show off their products.

As usual, Chico Pops was there and we couldn’t have been happier to be a part of it! We showed off our soon-to-be-in-stores retail bags and customers couldn’t get enough. The 5 ounce bag was an especially...

California Nut Festival 2014

Local grown food and businesses was the name of the game for the fifth annual California Nut Festival, held at the
lovely Patrick Ranch Museum in Durham, California. What began as a tour of the museum has since grown into a celebration of Chico business, and Chico Pops was a smash hit!

Shade, great weather, contests, a fun-run, more dogs than you can count, and all of the money raised goes to support the Butte Humane Society. Hey, what’s not to love about Bidwell Bark? This was the second year for the popular event, and it shows no signs of stopping, if attendance and attitude are anything to go by? It was the first year for ChicoPops, and we hope to make such charity events, a regular thing. Judging from the near constant attraction of visitors, our booth was a hit. Here’s an extra big shout-out to all of...
